La Ligne Comes to Greenwich

Fans of the clothing brand’s signature stripes take note: La Ligne just opened their newest outpost, this one at 229 Greenwich Ave., in Greenwich, CT. “While all our locations feature special site-specific décor local to the area, we worked with interior designer Lien Liu, who designed our three other locations, to ensure there is continuity across all our stores,” says Meredith Melling, co-founder with Valerie Macaulay and Molly Howard.

“It’s also become a tradition that each of the founders bring a few personal items, such as small objects like vases and coffee table books, to further evoke the feeling of a chic Parisian apartment.” Along with custom monogramming and some exclusive-to-Greenwich pieces, expect fall styles like cardigans and the Marin sweater (shown left) in new colors. “Additionally, we’ll introduce several dress styles in easy shapes that go from day to night, in deep jewel tones and an abstract leopard print,” says Macaulay. “And of course, we are always excited about stripes!”
